In his

“

We have roughly 100 million people in this country who shouldn't be here. They don't share our values.

Quick answer

Bo French is the Republican nominee for Texas Railroad Commissioner in the November 3, 2026 general election. The Railroad Commission regulates major parts of Texas oil and gas, pipelines, natural-gas utilities, LP-gas, critical natural-gas infrastructure, and coal and uranium surface mining. Despite its name, it no longer regulates railroads.

100M

people he says should be deported.

That is nearly one third of everyone living in the United States. Bo French is a former chair of the Tarrant County GOP and now the Republican nominee for the commission that regulates every barrel of Texas oil and gas. His own party's governor tried to stop him. Below is what he has said, with the receipts.

The record

Bo French is an un-American candidate.

Family separation at the border
Mass deportation

He wants to deport 100 million people. That's one in three of us.

There are about 14 million undocumented immigrants in the United States. Bo French's number is seven times that. To reach it, he would have to remove tens of millions of American citizens, legal residents and visa holders — your neighbors, your coworkers, your kids' classmates.

“It is that we have roughly 100 million people in this country who shouldn't be here.”

Muslim Texans

He told a gathering of conservatives the problem isn't extremism. It's Islam.

On a panel called “Don't Sharia My Texas,” French said Republicans should embrace Islamophobia openly. Muslims are two percent of Texas. Nearly half of American Muslims were born here. He wants them to “go home.”

“I'm going to say something that's going to make some people uncomfortable: the problem is actually Islam.”

His own Republican Party condemned him for the slurs he posted online.

As chair of the Tarrant County Republican Party, French's repeated use of slurs on social media drew public condemnation from fellow Republicans. The posts are documented, screenshotted and linked below. Read them yourself.

Hindu temple in Texas
Hindu Texans

Texas has the second-largest Hindu population in America. He has a problem with them too.

French's attacks don't stop at one faith. Hindu Texans — doctors, engineers, small business owners, families who have been here for generations — are on his list of people whose “culture and values do not align with America.”

“Immigration from lots of places in the world whose culture and values do not align with America.”

Who are the Christian Nationalists backing Bo?

Meet Farris Wilks and Tim Dunn, the two Christian nationalist billionaire megadonors defunding public education. They are spending hundreds of thousands to help Bo French.

“Two billionaires who bankroll the movement to defund Texas public schools are spending big to put Bo French on the Railroad Commission.”

Greg Abbott and Texas oil producers spent big to stop him. They failed but we cannot.

This isn't a partisan attack. The Republican governor of Texas and the state's largest oil and gas producers poured money into the runoff to keep French off the commission that regulates their industry. He won anyway, with 50.6 percent.

“A hard-right insurgent with a history of disparaging Muslims and immigrants.”

The businessman

He runs as a businessman.
The businesses kept collapsing.

Bo French wants to regulate an industry that funds a significant share of the state budget. Look at what he has run before: two hedge funds that folded, their funds cancelled in Delaware for unpaid taxes, and a security company that ended in bankruptcy and a lawsuit from the widow of American Sniper Chris Kyle.

Craft International

Chris Kyle's widow sued him for trying to steal the company her husband built.

French co-founded Craft International with the American Sniper in 2009 and served as its chief operating officer. Ten months after Kyle was killed, his widow was in court with him.

  1. December 2013

Taya Kyle, the widow of Chris Kyle, sued Bo French for allegedly attempting to “steal” Craft International by manipulating funds and failing to purchase her husband's share of the company after his death.

The Dallas Morning News, December 23, 2013
  2. In the lawsuit

Kyle claimed French had refused to make the company's financial records available, and had allegedly created a separate company, CI Risk Management, to push debt onto Craft International.

The Dallas Morning News, December 23, 2013
  3. June 2014

Craft International declared bankruptcy, reporting that it owed $2.6 million. French was still calling the lawsuit “completely groundless.”

The Dallas Morning News, June 4, 2014
  4. April 2015

A settlement between French and Taya Kyle was disclosed. Craft International shut down, and French agreed not to use Chris Kyle's name, likeness or image.

  5. February 2016

French received a cease-and-desist letter from Taya Kyle for allegedly using Chris Kyle's name and likeness in his own political campaign, in violation of their settlement.

What he did profit from

$10,082

In federal PPP money, forgiven.

French is the registered agent of RWBF Partnership, LP, a Texas limited partnership still in existence. It took at least $10,000 in Paycheck Protection Program loans, and $10,082 was forgiven by the federal government. In 2009 the same partnership needed at least two reminder letters from the state before it filed its mandatory periodic report.

After Pastor Niemöller

He came for the immigrants, and I said nothing because I was born here.

He came for the Muslims, and I said nothing because I am not a Muslim.

He came for the Jews, and I said nothing because I am not a Jew.

He came for the Hindus, and I said nothing because I am not a Hindu.

Then he came for me and there was no one left to speak out for me.

Do nothing and evil ideas will triumph, but if you want good to conquer evil, you have to vote.

If he is elected

Texas gets harmed.
And Bo French decides who is a Texan.

Will you get deported?

He would regulate every barrel of Texas oil and gas.

The Railroad Commission oversees drilling, pipelines, and the industry that funds a significant share of the state budget. French has promised to purge it of “radical Islamists.” That is not an energy policy. It's a purge.

Texas oil industry leadership loses its renown.

Every headline about the Texas energy sector would carry his name and his words. Investors, operators and the rest of the country would be watching a regulator who thinks a third of America needs to leave. And if he purges the oil and gas industry of his enemies, then there's no one left to work the pumps.

Your neighbors become targets.

Muslim, Jewish, Hindu and immigrant Texans would have a statewide official who has said, on the record, that they don't belong here. That doesn't stay on a stage. It follows people home.

Don't take our word for it

Watch him say it.

Don't do nothing.
